From rugged cliffs to tranquil shores, this gallery captures the diverse moods of coastal landscapes, shaped by wind, waves, and time. I am particularly drawn to the raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest coast, with its dramatic tree-covered sea stacks. The first time I descended the lush forest path to Second Beach in Washington’s Olympic National Park, I felt as though I had entered another world. The moist, organic smell of the woodland and the sound of wind and waves reaching me well before the shore created a multi-sensory experience I won’t soon forget. I’ve since explored many coastal scenes in Washington and Oregon, but that first visit remains the one most vividly etched in my memory.
