General Questions

Are all of your landscape photos on the website available for purchase as fine art prints?
Yes.  Every image in my galleries is available as a fine art print, including work from Colorado, Iceland, the northeast United States, and other locations.  You can explore the images and purchase prints directly within the same pages.

How do I place an order?
Every photograph in my galleries is available for purchase as a limited edition fine art print, crafted with the same care and attention to detail that goes into capturing each scene. Simply open an image to view available sizes and mediums, then add your selection to the shopping cart.  I accept all major credit cards. Your secure payment will be processed via Stripe.  If you prefer to pay via PayPal, Venmo, or another electronic method, please contact me directly to arrange it.  For bulk or trade orders, please reach out directly to discuss quantity discounts or custom quotes.

What types of landscape photography do you specialize in?
I focus on fine art landscape and nature photography from locations in the United States, Iceland, and select other destinations.  My galleries feature grand vistas, intimate forest scenes, aerial perspectives, and abstract interpretations of the patterns of nature.  Through my photography, I aim to present the most vivid version of reality possible and therefore I seek out moments when light and weather conditions create depth and color saturation.  The mountains of Colorado were where I first found my passion for landscape photography.  Since relocating to Connecticut in 2022, I’ve found inspiration in the many woodlands waterfalls found throughout the state.

Do you offer photography tours or workshops?
Yes.  I offer photography-focused tours and outdoor adventures that combine exploring beautiful natural locations with improving your photography skills.  Upcoming dates can be found on my Tours page.

Prints & Products

What fine art print mediums do you offer?
I offer several professional fine art print options, including acrylic float mounts, metal float mounts, and archival papers.  The premium gold standard, and my personal favorite, is the acrylic.  This presentation gives your print a vivid three-dimensional quality that makes the scene appear to jump off of the paper.  Using TruLife® Acrylic ensures clarity and light transmission without excessive surface glare.  More details about this and other mediums are available on the Prints page.  Other mediums may be available as a custom order.  Contact me to discuss your needs.

How do I choose the right print medium for my space?
Lighting, interior design, and most of all, personal taste, will influence which medium works best.  The Prints page includes an overview of each option, and I’m happy to provide recommendations if you’d like help selecting the right fit.

Do prints come framed?
As-offered, the acrylic and metal options are modern, frameless presentations that are ready-to-hang.  The fine art paper prints are fulfilled as loose prints for the frame of your choice.  If you prefer any of these options to come framed, contact me for options and guidance with selecting a frame that best complements your chosen artwork.

Do you offer custom print sizes?
Yes.  If you need a size that isn’t listed, contact me and I can usually accommodate custom dimensions.  Due to the contents of individual images, not all aspect ratios and orientations will work to maintain the compositional integrity of the given scene.

Ordering & Shipping

What payment methods do you accept for fine art prints?
I accept all major credit cards.  Your secure payment will be processed via Stripe.  If you prefer to pay via PayPal, Venmo, or another electronic method, please contact me directly to arrange it.

How long does it take to receive my landscape print?
Please allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks for your order to be completed and delivered. Processing times can vary depending on the print size, medium, and production schedule.  If any unexpected delay occurs, I’ll notify you as soon as possible.  Rush orders may occasionally be accommodated for an additional fee.

Do you ship prints internationally?
While free shipping is offered to all United States addresses, an additional charge may apply to ship internationally.  If you live outside of the United States and would like to order a fine art print, please contact me for shipping options and to receive a quote.  Collectors will be responsible for all duties, taxes, customs, and fees imposed by the country where the work is delivered.

What is your return or replacement policy?
Because each print is custom-made to order, I’m only able to accept returns or issue refunds in cases of damage during shipping.  If your print arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery so I can arrange a replacement.

Licensing & Usage

Can I license your landscape photos for commercial or editorial use?
I do offer options for commercial and editorial licensing, however all of the images featured on my website are limited-edition fine art prints, which means they are not available for licensing in order to preserve the exclusivity and integrity of each edition.  If you are interested in licensing imagery, I can provide similar subjects, locations, and styles, but the licensed files must be different images from those offered as limited editions.  This ensures that collectors maintain the full value of their prints while still allowing clients access to high-quality photography for professional use.  If you have a specific project in mind, I’m happy to discuss options and share available licensing-ready images.

Do you offer digital downloads of your images?
No.  My landscape and nature images are strictly available as fine art prints fulfilled by a small number of professional print studios.

Photography Questions

What photography equipment do you use?
I use Canon professional full-frame camera bodies, a variety of lenses suited for landscapes, and a DJI drone for aerial photography.  I occasionally share more about gear and workflow on my Blog.

Do you offer aerial and drone photography?
Yes.  I have a dedicated gallery featuring aerial and drone landscape photography.  Drone images often provide a glimpse into landforms not visible or apparent at ground level and can assist with abstract interpretations of the landscape.  Due to various regulations, it is not always possible to capture drone images at each location, but when it is permitted, I do send the drone up to obtain a different perspective on a scene.

How do you find the locations you photograph?
My process includes Internet research (viewing satellite images, examining topographic maps, and even drawing inspiration from other photographers), exploration in my Jeep, local knowledge, and plenty of time spent hiking or scouting.  Many location stories and behind-the-scenes experiences are shared on my Blog

Workshops, Events & In-Person Sales

Do you offer photography tours or workshops?
Yes.  I offer small group and one-on-one photography-focused tours and outdoor adventures that combine exploring beautiful natural locations with improving your photography skills.  Upcoming dates can be found on my Tours page.  If you are interested in exploring a location you don’t see there, please get in touch.

Do you sell your work at local events or galleries?
Yes.  I have my fine art prints for sale at art fairs and festivals throughout the year.  Check out my Facebook page for details on upcoming shows.

Do you take on commercial or commissioned photography projects?
For select projects, yes.  Contact me with details about your needs, and I’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.

Thank you for your interest in my work.  If you have questions that are not answered above or for special requests, please Contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
